Yazidi sisters reunite after 3 years in Islamic State captivity

Iraq, Dec 22 (ANI): Three Yazidi sisters were reunited this week after more than three years since they were kidnapped by Islamic State militants. They were taken by the militants in an assault on Sinjar, the Yazidi heartland on August 3, 2014. One of the sisters was taken to Syria while other was shifted to Turkey. They were later returned to Kurdish fighters and Iraqi government.
