Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 20 (ANI): Hundreds of Nepali Muslims gathered at mosques across the country to offer prayers on the first Friday of Ramadan, Islam’s holiest month. In Kathmandu, devotees assembled at the Kashmiri Mosque near Ghantaghar for congregational namaz. Worshippers marked the sacred month with fasting from dawn to sunset, prayer, and reflection. A devotee highlighted the significance of Roza and Sehri, as prescribed in the Quran. Ramadan, believed to be the month of the Quran’s first revelation to Prophet Muhammad, emphasizes spiritual discipline, compassion, and devotion, culminating in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
