New Delhi, Oct 18 (ANI): Dozens of protesters gathered near the Israeli embassy in Jordan’s Amman on Oct 17 to express solidarity with Palestinians. The protest occurred after the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar by Israeli Defence Forces. Demonstrators chanted slogans supporting Hamas and waved Jordanian and Palestinian flags. Protester Abdel Rahim Sorour affirmed Hamas' resilience, stating, “Hamas will stay strong with or without Sinwar”. Israel Defence Forces confirmed Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar’s death on October 17. Sinwar was identified as a mastermind of the October 7 attack that triggered the Gaza war. His killing marks a significant success for Israel in the conflict with Hamas. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the "war would continue".
