World leaders’ stand rock-solid with Israel | US, UK, Germany, Italy, France issue joint statement

New Delhi, October 10 (ANI): Israel is in retaliatory mode after Hamas terrorists wreaked havoc in Israel on October 7. In retaliation, Israeli Air Force rained fire in Gaza as the conflict escalated after Hamas' surprise attack. Meanwhile, world leaders unequivocally stand in solidarity with Israel and extend support. Western Countries like US, UK, France, Germany, Italy released a joint statement in support of Israel. “We make clear that the terrorist actions of Hamas have no justification, no legitimacy, and must be universally condemned. There is never any justification for terrorism. In recent days, the world has watched in horror as Hamas terrorists massacred families in their homes, slaughtered over 200 young people enjoying a music festival, and kidnapped elderly women, children, and entire families, who are now being held as hostages,” the statement read. The United States has started sending aid to Israel and moved its warships, aircraft close to the war-torn area. UK PM Rishi Sunak also expressed his solidarity with Israel and extended support to the country. Australian PM Anthony Albanese described the attack on Israel by Hamas as "abhorrent". Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau also said that the “Canadians stand with Israel” amid times of war. Italian PM Giorgia Mmeloni also held a telephonic conversation with Netanyahu and expressed country’s complete support. German Chancellor and French President also condemned Hamas’ ‘unprovoked’ attack and backed Israel. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was amongst the first world leaders to express solidarity with Israel. The death toll climbed to 900 in Israel with at least 2,600 injured claimed Israeli TV channels. Whereas, Gaza’s Health Ministry claimed at least 687 Palestinians’ lives leaving 3,726 wounded in Israeli air strikes.
