South Korea, Feb 09 (ANI): With the launch of the Winter Olympic Games just hours away international fans are hungry to see their teams perform, but the host country has more to offer than just a sporting spectacle. South Korea has a unique food culture that spans from kimchi, a side dish made from salted and fermented vegetables with a variety of seasonings to Korean barbecue, which sees customers perfecting their own meals over a large grill in the middle of their tables. Customers get their hands on their choice of seafood and it is then sliced and diced before their eyes. Most then carry their purchases to restaurants near the market where the fish is served raw with a variety of side dishes or cooked to their taste.
