Portugal/Spain: Nearly 30 people have died as wildfires rage through parched farmlands and forests in Portugal and Spain. Twenty-seven of those deaths coming in Portugal, where authorities say they are still battling about 145 blazes. Around 100 fires are still blazing in Spain. Lisbon has declared a state of emergency in territory north of the Tagus river, about half of its landmass.
