White House says Rex Tillerson to remain as secretary of state

Washington, D.C. (United States), Dec 01 (ANI): While reports of Rex Tillerson being removed in favour of Mike Pompeo are doing the rounds on internet, the White House debunked the rumours on Thursday. The White House spokeswoman, Sarah Sanders announced that Rex Tillerson will remain as U.S. secretary of state. "When the president loses confidence in someone, they will no longer serve here," White House spokeswoman Sanders said when asked about reports of a staff shake up.
