Davos, Switzerland, Jan 25 (ANI): During the World Economic Forum at Davos on Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron said the European nations should not wait before moving forward in their strategy to become sovereign and they need to be more ambitious in shaping future of the European Union. He said that digital, energy, developments, finance would make countries sovereign. He emphasised that Europe needs to redesign a 10-year-strategy because it has a responsibility and a role to play vis-a-vis China and USA. He added that it’s a unique vision to collaborate between freedom, justice and digital rights. He also called for a "global compact" to harness the negative effects of globalisation, warning against a race to the bottom on taxes and regulation.
