Jerusalem (Israel), Oct 09 (ANI): Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Lior Haiat, while talking to ANI, said that Israel has the full right to defend itself and they are doing just that. “...The Hamas launched a terror war against Israel...They massacred hundreds of people, we are talking about over 700 people that were massacred. They kidnapped and took hostage dozens of people...and took them to the Gaza Strip. This is a declaration of war. Israel has the full right to defend itself and we are doing just that...This morning over 70 terrorists from the Hamas terror organisation tried to enter Israel again and they were stopped. But there are still terrorists coming from the Gaza Strip towards Israeli territories. We are doing everything in order to stop this invasion...” said Lior Haiat. Talking about the casualties in Israel, Lior Haiat said, “As far as we know, there are over 700 people (casualties) but this is not the final number. We know of foreign citizens who were killed and we estimated that some of them were also kidnapped to the Gaza Strip. We don’t have the exact information right now. But we are working on that in order to verify all the information we have.”
