Muzaffarabad (PoK), Nov 05 (ANI): Government employees, who are working on contract basis in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) held a protest in Muzaffarabad city for non-payment of their monthly emoluments for over several months. Many, who are working in health, education and other government sectors in PoK demanded regular jobs and blamed Islamabad for its discriminatory policies against them. In July 2017, the government assured to provide regular salaries as it was passed in the assembly. But, still the people have not received their salaries. Tall promises have been made by the Pakistani establishment to bring development in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, but, corrupt administrative system has made it one of the most backward regions under its rule.Pakistan occupied Kashmir has a Prime Minister and a President, but is ruled from Islamabad.
