England (United Kingdom), Oct 27 (ANI): While revellers prepare for the spookiest night of the year, animal residents at ZSL London Zoo were getting in on the action, with zookeepers feeding them some seasonal foods. As part of the attraction's 'Boo at the Zoo' event, Achilles and Karis, a pair of Sumatran tigers, ate blood-scented pumpkins while the zoo's Humboldt penguins feasted of fish, which was concealed within the orange fruit. Also getting into the Halloween spirit were the zoo's meerkats. The zoo say the Halloween-themed event encourages the captive animals to use skills they would need in the wild - like sniffing out their next meal or digging. 'Boo at the Zoo' will run until October 31.
