Voice of Karachi demands Pakistan to declare urban areas of Sindh an autonomous region

Washington DC (USA), Jan 23 (ANI): A Washington DC based advocacy group for the rights of Mohajirs, ‘Voice of Karachi’ on its first anniversary made some important announcements at the unveiling of ‘Greater Karachi’ plan. The group formally demanded the state of Pakistan to declare the urban areas of Sindh province as an autonomous region within the boundaries of Pakistan. Speaking at the event, Voice of Karachi chairman Nadeem Nusrat said, “Today we are going to make some very important announcements. One of them would be a plan which demands the state of Pakistan that all the urban areas of Sindh province be declared as autonomous region. These areas should have autonomy when it comes to domestic issues.”
