Vande Bharat Mission: Stranded passengers in Russia praise quick response of Indian Embassy

Moscow (Russia), May 26 (ANI): A Special repatriation flight took off from Russia to India on May 26 to bring stranded Indian nationals home under centre’s Vande Bharat Mission. This is first repatriation flight from Russia amid COVID-19. One of the passengers said, “We have been very upset, the visa was over, everything was over. We got flight from Air India and got very quick response from embassy and Air India.” The other one praised embassies of India and Moscow and said, “We have been quarantined here since 22nd of March with very limited resources. Embassy of India and Moscow helped us when we were left with no money.” The stranded Indian nationals across globe are being brought back to their home country under Centre’s Vande Bharat Mission.
