San Francisco (US), May 24 (ANI): Indian nationals leaving San Francisco express their gratitude to the government for taking the initiative to bring them back their home country through a mission called ‘Vande Bharat’. One of the passengers said, “We would like to thank the Consulate of India and Air India to get us out of US. Because of the lockdown and COVID-19, it was difficult to stay on for long and I must appreciated government taking this initiative and helping so many Indians to get out of here and to reach our home country. ” The other one said, “There are some exceptional human beings on this planet like S Jaishankar who took initiative to bring us back. There is lot of humanity. I am extremely grateful for their empathy and support.” The stranded Indian nationals across globe are being brought back to their home country under Centre’s Vande Bharat Mission.
