Shannon (Ireland), Jan 21 (ANI): United States Vice President Mike Pence on Saturday criticised Senators who caused the shutdown of government by blocking an important bill at Shannon Airport in Ireland. U.S. Vice President Mike Pence was critical of Senators across the political divide who voted to block a bill to extend government funding through Feb. 16., causing it to shut down at midnight the day before. Speaking during a stop to refuel Air Force Two at the airport, the U.S. Vice President said that he and U.S. President Donald Trump are convinced that in a few weeks, a deal to resolve the issues related to the budget will be reached. Vice President Pence gave the statement when he was en route to Cairo for the start of a three country Middle East tour.
