Washington DC (USA), April 5 (ANI): Beijing has once again made nefarious attempts by “standardising” the names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh. This marks the third batch of geographical names announced by the Chinese ministry in India’s Arunachal Pradesh. MEA on April 4 made it clear that China’s attempts to “assign invented names will not alter reality”. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra assured that India is ready to safeguard its sovereignty. Now, in India’s support, the White House has slammed the ‘Dragon’ for its expansionist mindset. As India condemned its neighbour for its intimidation attempts, China continues to defend its wrong deeds. In 2017, Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs renamed six districts in Arunachal Pradesh. The second list was released last year in December 2022, in which China renamed 15 places. Experts questioned the timings of China’s attempt of renaming places in Arunachal as India chairs G20 and SCO.
