New Delhi, Sep 17 (ANI): The United States and South Korea have now agreed to push for more and stronger sanctions against North Korea after a series of nuclear and missile tests. South Korean President Moon Jae spoke to U.S. President Donald Trump over phone on Sunday. As tensions in the Korean peninsula continue to mount, both leaders are now looking to strengthen cooperation. Spokesman of South Korea's Presidential Office said: "The two leaders agreed to exert stronger and practical sanctions on North Korea so that the North Korean regime realizes provocative actions lead to further diplomatic isolations and economic pressure and eventually enter the path of collapse." It was only recently that Pyongyang had launched a missile over Japan for the second time in a period of a month on September 15. The United Nations Security Council had imposed a ban on North Korea's textile exports and chapped its imports of crude oil earlier this month.
