US retailer Dick's Sporting Goods curbs gun sales

New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Dick's Sporting Goods says it will permanently stop selling assault-style rifles and high-capacity magazines and will also not sell any gun to people under age 21. The news comes two weeks after 17 people were killed in a Florida high school shooting. It is the latest company to take action after the Florida shooting. Others include BlackRock, which said it will put pressure on gun makers whose shares it owns, Sturm Ruger and American Outdoor Brands. And companies, such as Hertz, Symantec and Metlife, which cut perks for members of the National Rifle Association.
