Washington DC (USA), (ANI) 22 (ANI): While addressing the virtual COVID-19 Summit on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, United States President Joe Biden on September 22 announced that the country will buy another half-billion doses of COVID vaccine to donate to low and middle-income countries around the world. “Today I'm announcing another historic commitment. The US is buying another half-billion doses of Pfizer to donate to low and middle-income countries around the world. This is another half-billion doses that will all be shipped by this time next year,” said US President. “It brings our total commitment to over 1.1 billion vaccines to be donated. To put it another way, for every one shot we have administered to date in America, we have now committed to do three shots to the rest of the world,” he added.
