US Congressional hearing: Proscribed terror outfit perpetrated Mumbai attacks, shot journalist in Kashmir, says Aarti Tikoo Singh

Washington, DC (USA), Oct 23 (ANI): Senior Indian journalist from Kashmir, Aarti Tikoo Singh nefarious activists of Pakistan based terror groups during United States Foreign House Affairs Committee hearing. She spoke about the LeT killing of Kashmir based journalist Shujaat Bukhari and the proscribed terror outfits involvement in Mumbai attacks. "On 14June 2018 Shujaat Bukhari was shot dead by LeT in Srinagar, terror group banned by US that perpetrated Mumbai terror attacks. Why did they kill him? Because Shujaat wanted Pakistan to end violence and human rights abuse in Kashmir, they killed him because he wanted peace," said Singh. "The 30 years of Islamic jihad and terror in Kashmir perpetrated by Pakistan has been completely ignored and overlooked by the world press. There is no human rights activist and press in world which feels it's their moral obligation to talk about victims of Pakistani terror in Kashmir," she added.
