U.N. envoy shows willingness to ease tension, says North Korea

New Delhi, Dec 10 (ANI): The United Nations Political Affairs Chief Jeffrey Feltman returned from his four-day trip to North Korea. The visit was the first in years by a United Nations envoy in North Korea. Feltmen is the highest level envoy since 2012 to visit North Korea. According to state media, the envoy showed willingness to ease tensions on the North Korean peninsula. Feltmen has also acknowledged the negative impacts of sanctions in the country, it added. The envoy toured hospital and food factory for inspection in Pyongyang.
