Washington D.C. (USA), Sep 02 (ANI): The United States President Donald Trump has declared September 3 to be the 'National Day of Prayer' for the victims of Hurricane Harvey and for the country's response and recovery efforts. He also urged the Americans of "all faiths and religious traditions and backgrounds to offer prayers today for all those harmed by Hurricane Harvey, including people who have lost family members or been injured, those who have lost homes or other property, and our first responders, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and medical professionals leading the response and recovery efforts." The storm has displaced more than 1 million people, with 44 feared dead from flooding that paralyzed Houston, swelled river levels to record highs and knocked out the drinking water supply in Beaumont, Texas, a city of about 120,000 people.
