Tokyo’s Ginza Shopping district attracts foreign tourists

Tokyo (Japan), Dec 09 (ANI): The fashionable clothes and bags lined up in the window are located in Ginza, Tokyo’s luxury shopping district. Ginza has high-end brands and fashion stores, and has been rebuilt as a modern town. In addition to many shops, Ginza is also home to the traditional Kabuki Theater, the Kabuki-za. People come here to enjoy Japanese performance of “Kabuki” and “Noh”. This year’s first performance has stared and theatre entrance has been decorated in traditional way. It is made of rice straw, pine and bamboo and it is traditional decoration for lucky purpose in New Year season. At the entrance to modern department stores and shops in the Ginza area, traditional “Kadomatsu” decoration is displayed for first sale of year. Many people are coming to Ginza to enjoy New Year sales. Traditional music, lion dance “ShiShimai” is played. It is another lucky performance in Japanese culture. Visitors enter the shop after a performance of biting by a lion “Shishi”. Customers are rushing to buy the happy bag “Fukubukuro”. For low price bags, customers can get higher price products kept inside the bag, but they cannot know the content in thehappy bag. So, it is a total happy surprise. Ginza is one of the most modern towns in the world and in the New Year visitors are attracted to shopping while enjoying traditional Japanese culture.
