Chengdu (China), Nov 28 (ANI): A 62-year-old roadside barber offers a traditional Chinese technique in which he shaves the inner side of the lower eyelid in a bid to 'refresh' and improve 'comfort' in the eye. Xiong Gaowu is one of the few existing practitioners who has honed his 'eyelids shaving' skills over decades. At his stand in Chengdu, the capital of China's southwestern province of Sichuan, Xiong uses a silver stick, eye drops and a straight razor to 'shave' the eyelids of his customers. Gaowu offers his services to seven or eight customers each week and charges 80 yuan ($12) each, usually as an extra service on top of a haircut.
