Thousands of Devotees flock to Janakpur for grand Bibah Panchami celebration

Janakpur (Nepal), Nov 12 (ANI): The sacred city of Janakpur in Nepal is hosting the grand Bibah Panchami festival, reenacting the divine wedding of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. This year, Ram Janmabhoomi Trust Chief Champat Rai and half-a-million devotees from India and Nepal are attending the celebrations. Special rituals, including a unique Tilakotsav ceremony, will be conducted for the first time, with hundreds of dignitaries leading the festivities. Extensive preparations have been made to accommodate the influx of attendees. Locals are lighting oil lamps to mark the occasion, symbolizing cultural ties between Janakpur and Ayodhya.
