New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): An edible glass has been made from seaweed to curb plastic plague. Made of seaweed-based edible plastic, this glass really is meant for eating. The glass has been created with an aim to improve Indonesia's dreadful environmental record. The country's poor record is accredited to single-use food packaging. The use of farmed seaweed to make the packaging of this glass makes it chemical free. These glasses, named Ellojello, come in four flavours and taste like jelly. Ellojello ice cream cone wrap are quite similar and single-serving coffee sachets melt away in hot water. Indonesia's government has pledged to cut marine waste by 70 percent by 2025.
