Moscow (Russia), May 23 (ANI/ TV BRICS): Unique exhibits and, at the same time, objects for investment. The "Art Moscow" fair brought connoisseurs and professional collectors together in the Russian capital. The Nigerian embassy was the guest of honour. Along with the works of beginners, the stand features the works of established masters. Among them are works from the embassy's collection in Moscow. The embassy's employees stress that African art is on trend. And in Nigeria itself, there are specialized institutes and regular exhibitions take place. Another trend is the industry's well-known conservatism. With all the range of modern technology, personal presence is still out of competition for collectors. The stands present canvases by Ivan Aivazovsky and Vasily Palenov. You can't stay indifferent here. Many see the light for the first time in decades, for example, this "Reaper" by Konstantin Makovsky. The fair has its own section for emerging artists. The works by the winners of the Moscow contest "Art Practicum" are presented here. For instance, Alexandra Ten has copied a photo from the family archive using a special technique. The artist's grandfather worked for a long time in North Korea. 100 sheets of A3 paper. The image is only visible from a distance. According to Alexandra, that was the idea. Thousands of visitors to the fair were able to form an opinion about this and dozens of other works. This fair was the 20th in a row.
