Terrorism cannot be associated with religion, says Sushma Swaraj at SCO Summit

Sochi (Russia), Dec 01 (ANI): Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj represented India at two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, which is being held in Russia's Sochi. Speaking at the summit, Swaraj said India condemns all forms of terrorism and everyone must reaffirm that terrorism cannot or should not be associated with any religion, civilization or ethnic group. It is a crime against humanity, she added. On behalf of India, she said the country urges cooperation from all other countries to enhance co-operation by intelligence sharing, law and order, mutual extradition agreements to counter terrorism. Swaraj is expected to meet several SCO leaders in Russia on the sidelines of the summit.
