Texas (US), Jun 24 (ANI): Immigrant children, who have been separated from their parents under a new zero tolerance policy launched by the Trump administration are housed in a tent city next to the Mexican border in Tornillo, Texas. The facility is created to house immigrant children who are separated from their parents when they crossed the border. United States President Donald Trump on June 20 signed an executive order to stop separating children from their families who are crossing the US-Mexico border. The zero tolerance policy led to the government separating more than 2,300 children from their families. Around 500 children have been reunited with their families so far. These reunions came after a week after an image of a toddler crying at the border went viral on social media.
