Moscow (Russia), March 13 (ANI/ TV BRICS): One of the most striking items was Pyotr Tchaikovsky's "sleeping beauty" by young ballerina Eleonora Shaidullina. The student of the Moscow academy of choreography admits that in order to appear at the "Grand Prix of Hopes" and dance the five-minute part of the lilac fairy, she had to work every day for several months and not only on the technique of performance. Alisher Kasymkhan, a rising star of Kazakh ballet, a student of the Almaty choreographic school, on the contrary, prepared on an accelerated program - he learned the part in just a week. The age of the contestants who performed on the stage of the Russian academic youth theatre ranged from 16 to 20 years old. Each country presented its own ballet school and method of training dancers. There was only one condition common to all of them -to adhere to the traditions of classical Russian ballet, famous for its more than 300-year history. The participants' performances were evaluated by an international jury, which included masters of world ballet. As a result, around 20 novice dancers were awarded medals, diplomas and cash prizes.
