New York (USA), September 27 (ANI): EAM S Jaishankar recalled the clash between the Indian and Chinese troops in Galwan valley that happened in 2020. During his interaction at Council on Foreign Relations in New York, EAM recalled cautioning China. EAM also said that India-China relations have been impacted and it is hard to be normal with the country which has “broken agreements”. Since May 2020, both India and China have been deployed in forward positions near Patrolling Point 15. This Point 15 emerged as a friction point in the wake of the Galwan clash. Over 50,000 Indian soldiers had been stationed since 2020 at forward posts along the LAC.
