Students celebrate Tatyana`s day in Moscow

Moscow (Russia), Feb 02, 2022, (ANI): These students here are celebrating Tatyana`s day (Students` day) at Moscow State University. This day is celebrated with a glass of mead in hand where the rector himself treats the students. The day also marks a birthday of the oldest Russian University where hundreds of masters, graduate students and bachelors gather and celebrate. Foreign guests also made their presence at the festival. This celebration was held in Moscow for the 2nd time & was timed to coincide with the Tatiana’s Day. The festival also witnessed a student gala concert. During the concert, the “Star of Moscow University” was awarded on stage. It’s the main student award. The festival was held after the winter exam session. A graduate student from China, Qitong Jing took her exam the next day. She admits that test was not easy but friends helped to get through it. Russian President Vladimir Putin also congratulated the University on the occasion of its birthday. During the online meeting he advised first year students of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
