Stratford acid attack: Six injured, minor held

London (England), Sep 24 (ANI): At least six people were injured in east London on Saturday after a group of men sprayed a noxious substance in an area around a Stratford shopping centre. Panic gripped the area after victims cried out of pain and burn. The dreadful incident occurred at around 8 in the night. A police spokesman said it is not being treated as terror-related attack. Police have arrested a man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and are searching for others involved. According to reports the suspect is a 15-year-old boy. Britain suffered a number of acid attacks in recent years which are also linked to robberies and gang-related violence.
