Colombo (Sri Lanka), July 11, (ANI): Amid the fuel shortage in Sri Lanka, Local restaurants are compelled to use firewood for cooking. Economic crisis has particularly impacted food security, agriculture, livelihoods, and access to health services. A restaurant owner said, “We are using firewood as gas is currently not available. We were told that gas will come in 15 days but even after 15 days it has not arrived. Earlier we had 400 items in the menu but now we have curtailed it to 100.”“There is huge crisis of petrol and diesel too,” another worker added.
