London (UK), May 14 (ANI): Clashes between protestors and Pakistani rangers in Muzaffarabad sparked the unrest in PoK. The United Kashmir People’s National Party organised a protest outside the Pakistani consulate in the UK. The protest was organised in solidarity with the major unrest in PoK’s Muzaffarabad. Several party leaders and members of the Kashmiri diaspora participated in the solidarity protest. They expressed support for the ongoing struggle of the people of PoK, Pakistan-Occupied Gilgit Baltistan. The Awami Action Committee called for the protest, demanding tax-free electricity from the Mangla Dam, and subsidies on wheat flour. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain has condemned the killing of peaceful protestors by Pakistani forces in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) calling it "unacceptable".
