Sikhs hold protest against locking of Lahore Gurdwara

New Delhi, December 13 (ANI): The Sikh community in New Delhi staged a protest over the act of sealing of Gurdwara Shaheed Bhai Taru situated in Lahore. The angered protesters marched towards Pakistan High Commission and submitted their memorandum to officials. Pakistan government has put a lock on the historical gurdwara of Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh in Naulakha Bazaar of Lahore. Land Mafias in Lahore attempted to seize the gurdwara’s property, causing unrest between the local Sikh and Muslim communities. Previously also Sikhs were not allowed to observe the anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh in gurdwara.
