Rivas (United States), Oct 07 (ANI): Tropical Storm Nate swirled toward the United States Gulf Coast after killing at least 25 people in Central America and causing severe flooding in the town of Rivas, Nicaragua. Nate is set to become a Category 1 hurricane, the weakest on a five-category scale used by meteorologists, by the time it hits the United States central Gulf Coast. The storm triggered mudslides, flooding, and widespread power outages. The governor in Louisiana has already declared a state of emergency. People there are stocking up food.
