Bethlehem (West Bank), Dec 08 (ANI): The Israeli security forces on Thursday used tear gas and water cannons after clashes broke out in the West Bank's Bethlehem following United States President Donald Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The demonstrators, who clashed with the security personnel, were also protesting following news of the U.S. embassy move to Jerusalem. Earlier on Thursday, Palestinians switched off Christmas lights on the trees outside Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, where Christians believe Jesus was born.
