New York City (USA) September 10 (ANI): India’s permanent representative at the UN, Parvathaneni Harish delivered India’s statement at the UN Security Council open debate on Strengthening UN Peacekeeping. He said, “India is the largest cumulative troop contributor to UN Peacekeeping. Have contributed more than 250,000 troops in more than 50 Missions. Need to establish a Memorial Wall for more than 4000 Peacekeepers who made the supreme sacrifice. Security Council needs to be more representative of today’s realities and greater representation of Africa in the Council.”
