Scotland Friends of India holds protest in support of CAA in Edinburgh

Edinburgh (Scotland), Jan 26 (ANI): Scotland Friends of India held a protest in Edinburgh on Republic Day in support of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The demonstrators held play cards reading ‘we support minorities right to live with dignity’. The CAA grants citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, Buddhists and Christians fleeing religious persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh and who came to India on or before December 31, 2014.
