Moscow (Russia), Mar 22, (ANI): Russian start-up has developed a technology for the movie lovers to watch the immersive cinema in 360 format. This virtual reality technology operates in one of Moscow parks, which is the only one in the country. It has no usual screen inside, no darkness during the séance, however special goggles are kept for each spectator. These goggles are equipped with a display, lenses, controlled by the cinema staff via a smartphone. The system allows you to watch video in 5k resolution and headphones enhance the immersive effect. Each viewer chooses a film independently on a special terminal before the screening. Diana Bondarenko and Sergey Kapinos are avid travellers, decided to watch a film about wildlife. The start-up has been engaged with panoramic cinema for more than 5 years. They demonstrate & produce films. It all started with the "the journey of the diamond" which has been viewed on the internet for more than 4 million times! Today you can see immersive films in Moscow; the second cinema will soon appear in Vologda. The cinema start up managers are convinced that the market potentialpermits opening at least 150 cinemas in Russia to run panoramic films.
