Moscow (Russia), Nov 10 (ANI/TV BRICS): The participants in the International conference on 'BRICS science, technology and innovation cooperation’ came together to think geopolitically and geo-economically. Scientists from all the BRICS partner states suggested looking for new ways of development. For example, to restore the domestic machine tool industry, it is necessary to join forces with China & India, said Aleksandr Akimov. MGIMO University lecturer Ellina Shavlay said that Russia and India have a lot in common. Both countries want to build a triple helix of interaction that is government, business and science. The cluster system recently introduced in the Indian economy will help build an effective model and coordinate efforts. Innovative platforms are also being developed in Russia. Digitalisation of economy, supersonic combustion recycling, information security, technological education, translation of all documents and developments into languages of participating countries--these were the proposals voiced at the conference. The most promising ones will be sent to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the MFA, where projects will be selected for implementation in the BRICS countries.
