Moscow (Russia), Feb 15 (ANI/TV BRICS): Russian Kholodets is not just a dish-- a gastronomic festival of the same name is held every year in the Moscow region. Despite similar contents the form & presentation of all dishes are different. The organisers choose a theme for the event each year. This time they chose fairytale themes. The menu was put together by a team from a museum near Moscow. This original recipe continues the sweet theme: Kholodets, which is actually a cake. The base that looks like meat is halva. The author confesses to cooking the dish all day long. Festival visitors were amazed by the participants. The organisers say the festival has become a nationwide event. The organisers also arranged an entertainment programme for the visitors. A variety of workshops, competitions and contests also became part of the festivities. On stage performances of musical groups and even a fashion parade with traditional outfits were organised. There were about 10,000 visitors in the courtyard of the museum and exhibition complex. The "Russian kholodets" festival takes place annually. This year it was held for the tenth time.
