New Delhi, Jun 05 (ANI): Lava from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano threatened area where several residents have become trapped. According to the officials, dozens of people are stranded there. Some chose to stay and now the area has no power, cell reception, landlines or county water. National Guard troops, police and firefighters evacuated people from homes, hours before lava cut off road access to the area affected by the Kilauea volcano. A stream of lava flowed over a highway near Kapoho, a seaside community rebuilt after a destructive eruption of Kilauea in 1960. Lava also destroyed a freshwater lake, boiling away all of the water in it.
