South Africa, Feb 16 (ANI): Cyril Ramaphosa was elected as South Africa’s President in a parliamentary vote. He pledged to tackle endemic corruption after scandal-ridden Jacob Zuma resigned on orders from the ruling African National Congress. Ramaphosa, the leader of the ruling African National Congress party since December, was the only candidate nominated during a session of the South African Parliament.
