Rajawadi leaders in Birgunj rally to bring back monarchy

Birgunj (Nepal), Jan 11 (ANI): To mark the birth anniversary of late king Prithvi Narayan Shah, Rajawadi leaders in Birgunj town took out a massive rally to demand monarchy rule in the country. “Raja Lao Desh Bachao” slogans reverberated during the rally as the protesters vented out their anger during the rally. Carrying the national flag, placards and banners, people raised nationalist slogans and called for adhering to the principles propounded by Prithvi Narayan Shah. The day also commemorated the National Unity Day as on this day, the king unified modern Nepal, which was divided into 24 and 22 small principalities into a single country.
