New Delhi, Jan 05 (ANI): While talking to ANI on Smiriti Irani’s remark over Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy said, “Rahul Gandhi is not ‘gyani’ and certainly not a ‘tyagi’. He does not qualify to be a Brahmin. With all this drama that he has done, he has just made fun of Hindu religion. Smriti Irani is right. Rahul Gandhi might have done it just for the election and now he must have forgotten about it”. Earlier, Smriti Irani had taunted Rahul Gandhi over wearing ‘janeu' only for polls of three states.
