Oregon (United States), Sep 06 (ANI): The Eagle Creek Fire in Oregon has forced hundreds of people to leave their homes as it continues to grow at a rapid pace. Heavy smoke has forced the closure of Interstate 84, a major thoroughfare through the Columbia River Gorge. Officials believe the blaze was sparked by the misuse of fireworks. An air quality alert has been issued due to ash from the fire.
