Muzaffarabad (PoK), Jun 17 (ANI): A protest was held in Muzaffarabad, a city of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) over a demand to abolish the Azad Kashmir Council headed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The protest was held because Azad Kashmir government had requested the Government of Pakistan to abolish the Kashmir Council and the request was accepted. But, few members of the Kashmir Council are creating hurdles. The Prime Minister of PoK, Raja Farooq Haider Khan had raised demand to abolish the Kashmir Council. According to the protestors, Pakistan has misruled the region for more than seven decades. There is a Prime Minister and President in PoK, but they are merely stooges who have been helping Islamabad fill its treasuries through economic depredations. The people of the region have been denied basic fundamental rights and are meted out with severe brutality if they demand it.
