Birgunj (Nepal), Jan 08 (ANI): Several Madhesi leaders of the Terai Region in Nepal have blocked streets of Birgunj, demanding amendments in the constitution at the earliest. The protestors formed a human chain and blocked the traffic. The Madhesi community feels they have been ignored in the constitution that was formulated in 2015. They have been demanding an amendment which would provide them equal rights and many leaders have taken part in recently concluded elections to bring about the change in a constitutional way.
